#ChiTAGFair – Chicago Toy & Game Fair

Last year, the Raising Bridges crew was able to spend the day at the Chicago Toy and Game Fair at Navy Pier in Chicago. We are delighted and excited to announce that we will once again be going there this weekend. If you’re unfamiliar with the Chicago Toy and Game Fair, it is one of the best places to try out toys and games before you go shopping on Black Friday. Last year we were able to find a few gifts to take home for our kids to open up for the holidays.

This year, they boast a few different events we are sure to love, all of which  you can read about on

Last year we were thoroughly impressed by all of the vendors that were there. In particular, we were delighted to meet the folks at Micro Kickboard. Our kids loved testing out their scooters and the balance bikes. We hope that they are there again this year because we plan on purchasing one of the scooters for our kids to play with the summer.

All different types of toys were featured. We saw things such as old wooden toys, building blocks, apps for kids for iPad and android, and a slew of other formal and informal children’s toys.

This year we expect to see more of the same and hopefully a whole lot more. Now that our children are older we know that their toy preferences have changed we are looking forward to see what they get excited about so we can find out what they want this holiday season.

Feel free to join us and so many others.
